Hello everyone,

     By now all the leftover Thanksgiving turkey is gone and we are in the full Christmas shopping mode. The holidays are a great time to be shared with family and friends, but once they have passed it’s time for the serious fun that we wait all year for… snowmobiling!

     December finds us preparing for our annual Christmas Party after our meeting on the 19^th. We have been doing a Yankee swap at our club for quite a few years now and this event continues to be a big hit. Every year someone finds that special gift that everyone else just has to have. There are always a lot of laughs before the evening is over. Also in December is the long awaited drawing of the MSA Super Raffle on the 21st. You could be a big winner or have sold a winning ticket! Either way, the raffle is still a great fundraiser for our club and thanks everyone for the continued support.

     We at EMSC would like to congratulate Wilbur Libby Sr.& Jr. for being recognized as one of this year’s IF&W Landowners of the Year. The Libby’s have been great supporters of our club for many years and are more than deserving of this award. Again congratulations and thank you for all you do for our club and our sport!

     As riding season quickly approaches, please keep safety in mind. You have not ridden a snowmobile since last March and the trails you think you know like the back of your hand may not still go where they always have. So take that first ride or two a little easy and enjoy the season.

     The Eastern Maine Snowmobilers would like to wish everyone across this state and beyond a very enjoyable holiday season and please ask Santa for snow for Christmas!
