Eastern Maine Snowmobilers, Inc.
December 2005 MSA Newsletter
Hello again,
Just like shopping days until Christmas, the countdown to the first ride of the 2005/2006 season is underway. Are you ready? Has your machine been serviced this year? How about your trailer? Many times we have to travel to the snow for that first ride. Have you tried on your suit this year??? I find mine tends to shrink hanging in the closet over the summer…
Our club members have been busy getting ready for the season. Our annual Hunter’s Breakfast was held on November 12th. This was, as always, well attended and a great fundraiser for our club. “Super Lew” and his crew are making sure everyone in the neighborhood has at least one Super Raffle Ticket in hand for the big drawing on the 13th. After the October Monsoons, the trail crew has been making up for lost time on our system. And preparations are underway for our annual Christmas party and New Year’s Eve dance.
Soon we can get to the serious stuff…riding snowmobiles! Our clubhouse officially opens on January 7th, on Friday nights and Saturday & Sunday afternoons. The fireplace is always going and our kitchen has hot coffee and light lunches available. If you’re riding in our area, please stop by and say “Hi”.
If you would like to learn more about us, just visit the website above or at PO Box 226 Brewer, ME 04412 or phone 989-2788. And don’t forget, our clubhouse is available for rent April thru December for family functions.
We at the Eastern Maine Snowmobilers would like to wish you and your’s a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and a safe, enjoyable snowmobiling season!
Best Wishes,
Jim
