Eastern Maine Snowmobilers, Inc.

February 2005 MSA Newsletter

Hello everyone,

As I write you in mid January, we are still waiting for more snow to ride on in our area. Because of this fact, things have been a little quiet around the clubhouse. We have had our kitchen open on Friday nights, but it has remained closed on weekends. Our President was convinced to perform her Secret Snow Dance at our last meeting and hopefully by the time you read this we will have snow and everything will be running as it should be.

This month finds us making our annual contribution to the Pine Tree Camp and also holding an Outdoor Women’s Snowmobile Safety Training Class, in cooperation with the Maine IF&W, on the 5th of February.

Something new this year (conditions permitting) will be a charity ride. We have been working with the Brewer Walmart in promoting a ride in our area to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. The ride is scheduled for February 12th at 8am and we are currently seeking snowmobilers to participate at a donation of $20.00 per rider. A meal and door prize drawing will be held at our club after the ride, with all the proceeds going to CMN. Please come join us and help make this first time event a big success for everyone. For more information or to signup please contact us at the address below.

February 18th & 19th some of our members will be in Ashland for our annual club trip. Our trip always makes for some interesting stories and lasting memories, and I’m sure this year will be no exception.

If you would like to contact us about these or other events, we are at PO Box 226 Brewer, ME 04412, 989-2788 or visit us on the web at the address listed above.

Until next month,

KEEP ON DANCIN!!!

Jim
