Hello and HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY, 

Our next meeting is Sunday, March 18^th at 7:00 p.m., Pot Luck supper at 6:00.  Alan Gillis from the Warden Service will be our guest speaker.

Donald and Gail MacKenzie were the winners of the February 50/50 drawing.  However, they turned the $30.00 back into the Charities fund.   THANK YOU!

If you missed the last meeting, Lew gave an update on the results of the Super Raffle.  Although no one from our club won any of the four top prizes, EMSC placed second in the sales contest out of 288 clubs.  Many thanks go to the volunteers who helped sell tickets this season, and a HUGE THANK YOU to Lew who did a superb job organizing the Super Raffle again this year.  It has been Lew’s dedication and hard work that has placed us in the top ten spot for the last 3 years. 

Once we were blessed with snow, riding began and the groomers were in full force, spending countless hours making sure the trails were ready.  Thank you all!

Sad to say, but the club house will be closing for the season on March 25^th.  Spring clean up is scheduled on March 31^st beginning at 8:00 a.m.  The more hands we have, the quicker we can finish and prepare the club for the upcoming rental season, which begins April 1^st.  Many thanks to Joanne Grover for being the club cook on the weekends (and some Friday nights) and to the volunteers who pitched in to help Joanne.

As you all know, Eric Petley was deployed late February.  He was presented with a gift certificate so he and Diane could go out for supper on us.  I heard from Eric and he asked that I thank everyone for their kindness.  I want to wish Eric well, and for a safe return.
