November 2004 Club News
Hello again everyone,
It's beginning to happen…areas around the State are starting to turn white! The
long wait is nearly over and we will be riding soon. I'm sure some of you have a
new sled you just can't wait to try. Please remember to keep safety in mind
right from the beginning.
Our next meeting is this Sunday November 21st at 7pm with a spaghetti supper at
6pm.
Our Hunter's Breakfast, held November 6th, was again well attended and an
abundant number of volunteers made for light work for all. Thank you to Jan
Logan, Charlie Mitchell, Bob, Ardene, and Suzie Heistand, Mike Nelligan, Carl
Gerow, Marcia Mower, Robbie Maquillan, Jim and Marty White, Tracy and Kristen
Porter and Larry Lafland for the preparation work Friday night. Also the
breakfast and cleanup crew; Lew Tourtillotte, Marcia Mower, Troy Grass, Charlie
Mitchell, Larry Lafland, Jim, Marty, and Nina White, and Jamie Madore. Thanks to
Troy Grass and his family for the donation of 20 dozen eggs for the meal. We fed
135 adults and 11 children total that morning. And a big thank you to Eileen
Lafland for taking the time from her busy schedule to coordinate this event for
our club again this year.
The first annual EMSC Craft Fair will be held this Saturday, November 20th, from
9 to 5 at the clubhouse. Our kitchen will be open and there will be door prizes
every hour. Reservations have been very good and the hall will be filled with
amazing Crafts! Come check it out!

Our MSA Super Raffle sales continue to go well. Over 70 were sold at the
Hunter's Breakfast and 366 this past weekend at the Bangor Mall. Thanks to
"Super Lew" and all the volunteers that have help make this a success for our
club again this year. We still have a couple dates left at Marden's, so take a
turn and help raise money for your club. If you have ticket stubs and money to
be turned in please bring them to the meeting Sunday.
Speaking of raffles, the first drawing of our 300 Club will be held this Sunday,
Nov 21st. If you have not yet turned in your ticket or would like to buy one

Our Trail Crew continues to meet every Sunday at 8:00am at the club. If you
would like to be part of this activity, come to the club any Sunday at that time
and join the team. Thank you to all the members who have taken time already this
year to help prepare our trail system for the upcoming season.
This year's club trip will be to The Four Season's in Ashland on February
