November 2006 Club News

Hello Everyone!

Our next club meeting is November 19th at 7:00 p.m.  Supper will be chili, corn bread and cake.  The first draw for the 300 club will be this night.  There are still tickets available if anyone needs them.  Remember – you can’t win if you don’t play.  Also, if the sales force could return their tickets and money a few days prior to the meeting it would help Brent a great deal.  Please send the tickets to Brent Spaulding, 41 Madison Avenue, Brewer 04412 or call him at 989-7762.  We are looking forward to another successful fundraiser.

Welcome to our newest members:  Ron and Catherine Harriman of Brewer and Walter and Sandy Oxley of Holden.

Dave Johnson won the 50/50 at the October 15th meeting.  There was a total of $84.00 brought in, with Dave winning $42.00.  However, Dave turned in all but $10.00 back to the club.  THANK YOU, Dave!

Our annual Landowners Dinner was well attended.  Landowners that attended are: Jim and Lianna Hayden, Joni Williamson, Chris and Jackie Neil and family, Jeff and Holly Seymour and family, Fill and Janet Howell, Greg Bemis, Gary Briggs and friend, Jimmy Martin and Dory Demmons, Philip and Mary Ellen McTigue.

Trail work is on going every Sunday morning at the club house from 8:00 to noon.  Many hands make light work.  December is one page away on the calendar, which means we could get our first snow fall any time - don’t we want the trails to be ready????  If anyone knows of areas with problems please call Larry at 843-7813.
