Eastern Maine Snowmobilers, Inc.

November 2006 MSA Newsletter

Hello everyone!

Did everyone get a taste of winter at the MSA Snowmobile Show in October? As I remember correctly, we had summer-like weather that weekend, which was enjoyed by all. However, the predictions about snowfall this winter is looking very good as it is noted that we will have a “normal winter”.

Our club has been busy with pre-winter activities including the Annual Landowner Recognition Dinner on Sunday, October 15th, Annual Hunter’s Breakfast on November 11th and the EMSC Craft Fair on November 18th. Trail work continues every Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until noon in anticipation of an eventful winter and riding on superb trails. Larry Lafland needs to be recognized for his hard work and dedication. Thanks Larry!!!

Super Raffle ticket sales have begun and are off to a great start. New members are able to purchase tickets when they renew their membership. Many thanks to our own “Super Lew” for his ongoing enthusiasm and dedication for organizing this club fundraiser.

The Eastern Maine Snowmobile Club will be undergoing some renovations. Our club is dedicated to Family, Friends, and Fun and the upgrades will enhance the appearance. In January, the club is open every Friday night and weekends – so if you’re in the area, please stop in for a cup of hot chocolate and a snack and friendly conversation. With holiday festivities soon to arrive, our club house is available to rent at very reasonable prices.

We at the Eastern Maine Snowmobilers would like to wish all of you an enjoyable Thanksgiving with your families and friends.

If you would like more information about our club, please contact us at PO Box 226, Brewer 04412, 989-2788 or our web site www.easternmainesnowmobilers.com

Until next time,
Joanne
