Hello everyone,

 

     The Eastern Maine Snowmobilers kicked off the 2005-2006 season on Sunday September 25^th with our annual open house, chicken barbeque and membership drive. This was a well-attended event, with many of our local dealers on hand, displaying their 2006 sleds and answering questions about the new models. Of course our own Super Lew, was doing a Super Job, selling Super Raffle tickets to everyone also.

     October finds us preparing for our annual Landowner Recognition Dinner on the 16^th. These fine folks continue allowing us to use their property for our trail system and for that we are very grateful. A heart felt THANK YOU goes out to all our landowners, not just on this day, but all year long! Your generosity is truly appreciated by all the members of the Eastern Maine Snowmobilers.

     Also in October, our Trail Crew starts meeting every Sunday morning to ready our system for another season. Brush gets trimmed, bridges get checked and repaired, and there always seems to be a reroute or two just to keep things interesting.

     Hunting season is just around the corner and so is our Hunter’s Breakfast. On November 5^th from 4:30-8:30 our seasoned cooking staff will be serving up ham, eggs, home fries, beans and all the fixin’s to start your day in the woods. Stop by our clubhouse see for yourself, the price is right and you won’t go away hungry.
