December 2009 Newsletter
Happy Holidays,
Welcome to our newest members and business members! On the back of each newsletter you’ll find business
members who are supporting us. So let’s
show our support for them as members and patronize their businesses whenever
possible. For example, Orono Friend and
Friend is offering EMSC and club members a 15% discount on service and repair
work from now until March 31, 2010.
All business members received
an e-mail from Sue Tuholski about placing a link on the EMSC web site. Sue received a few replies. If you would like
to have your business linked to our web site e-mail Sue at gsski49@yahoo.com. Tis the season for snowmobile enthusiasts to
be surfing the web….
Our next meeting is Sunday, December 20th – POT LUCK at 6:00,
MEETING at 7:00, and our ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY following. We’ll have the Yankee Swap so if you’d like
to join in the fun bring a unisex gift, wrapped (at least a $10.00 value). If you have children, please bring a gift for
them with their name on it.
Congratulations to the winners of the first 300 club drawing of the season: $500 Ardene Heistand; $200 Phil Newbury;
$100 Mary Jackson; $50 Ernest Hutchins; $50 Frank Merrill; $50 Lorena Fenlason;
and $50 Nancy Gerow. A few tickets are still available. If you’d like to try your luck and purchase a
ticket(s), contact Brent Spaulding at 989-7762.
Plans are underway for our
weekend club trip – so stay tuned – more information will be provided.
Dates to remember:

December 31st: New Year’s Eve Dance (8:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.). $20.00 per couple or $10.00 per person. There will be ice and light snacks. Help is needed for set up and the next day for
clean-up.

January 2nd: CLUB HOUSE OPENS FOR THE SEASON!

January 8th: Open for Friday night dinners. A sign-up sheet will be posted in the kitchen
for volunteer cooks. You don’t have to
be a chef or prepare anything fancy – simple is better. If you don’t have time to make a dish, the
regular menu is available. Please
contact Joanne at catrider550@roadrunner.com if you’d like to sign up
for a particular Friday night.
