January 2010 Newsletter
Happy New Year to All!!!
Our next meeting is Sunday, January 17th, at 7:00
p.m. Dinner is at 6:00, which will be a
POTLUCK.
Not sure what the weather
holds for us sledding to the club.
However if you do venture out, BE CAREFUL. There is still a lot of open water on the
trails. In addition the lakes and
streams are still dangerous. Remember
the club is open, with or without snow, on Friday nights.
Janet and Mike Nelligan prepared
and served a spaghetti dinner at the first Friday night dinner and the turnout
was good. Dinner is served about
5:30/6:00. Paul and Lisa Gargan have
signed up for Friday, January 15th, which will include a roast pork
dinner. The fire will be roaring so
please join us for a game of cards or just some friendly conversation. We still need cooks for Friday nights. A sign-up sheet is posted on the
refrigerator.
Larry will soon be asking
folks to help with grooming trails. If
you have time, and would like to help out, contact Larry at 843-7813. If this is a new experience for you, training
will be provided.
As you know I send
newsletters out two ways: by e-mail and
by postal service. If you are getting
the newsletter by postal service and would like to receive it by e-mail, please
let me know. You can forward your e-mail
address to me at catrider550@roadrunner.com. To ensure that you continue to receive the
newsletter it’s VERY important that you contact me or Eileen Lafland if your
addresses changes. You can also view the
newsletter on our web site.
Congratulations to the winners of the December 300 club drawing: $500 Janet Nelligan; $200 Bud Young; $100
