February 2011 Newsletter

Hello to all the snow lovers,

What an awesome winter this has been so far!!!  Mother Nature has been so good to us.  The club is humming with business every weekend and hopefully for another several weeks.  Thanks in advance to Carol Ashe who keeps the kitchen running.  The groomers have done a fantastic job keeping the trails in excellent shape.

MEETING DATE CHANGED

Due to the club trip, the February meeting is moved to SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 7:00 following a meal prepared and served by Danielle and Jason Littlefield.  The Board of Directors meet at 5:00. 

CLUB TRIP

 Leaving from the club house Saturday, February 19^th and traveling to Machias - returning Sunday, February 20^th.  If you’d like to join the group contact either Larry Lafland (843-7813) or Dain Bryant (852-5150) for details.   There are several people already signed up and anxious to go.  Call for a room now - Machias Motor Inn – 255-4861.  The rate is $ 75.00 plus tax for a double, and $70.00 plus tax for a single.  There is a 24 hour cancelation policy.  Tell them you are from the Eastern Maine Snowmobile Club.  Snow conditions couldn’t be any better.

FRIDAY NIGHT DINNERS

I would like to extend a “THANK YOU” to the members who have either cooked or dropped off meal.  We still have a few OPEN Friday nights - contact me at 843-0749 or catrider550@roadrunner.com if you want to either cook or drop something off February 25, March 11, or March 25.
