March 2011 Newsletter

Hello and Happy Spring!

Our next meeting is Sunday, March 20^th (first day of spring) at 7:00 p.m. following a POT LUCK dinner.  The Board of Director’s meeting is at 4:00. The Annual meeting will be held on Sunday, April 17^th with the election of Officers and Board members.  If you would like more information on becoming an officer or Board member, please contact Wally at 989-3664.

As the winter winds down we are thankful for the snow which has brought much activity to clubs and businesses across the state – it was a profitable year for all.  However, all good things must come to and end – so with that said, depending on snow conditions the club house will be closed Friday nights and weekends for the remainder of the season.  However, if the weather changes and we get ONE more good snow fall, call Dain at 852-5115 or Joanne, 843-0749 to get updated information on club openings.      

I want to thank everyone who cooked or prepared a meal to serve at our Friday night dinners.   A special thank you to Carol Ashe for working in the kitchen every weekend during this busy season and helping out on Friday nights. 

There are only two more 300 club drawings (March and April).  I believe there might be a few tickets left to get into the drawing.  Call Brent Spaulding 989-7762 for more information.  This fundraiser was very successful this year, and we thank everyone who bought tickets.   Remember, you don’t have to be a member to get into the monthly drawings.

Rental season is upon us which begins April 1 through December 31^st.  If you or someone you know is planning an event contact Donna Wood at 945-6962 to inquire about rental fees.  Refer to the calendar posted on our web site to check availability.

With rental season comes spring cleaning….. if anyone would like to help “spring” clean in preparation for rentals please contact Dain 852-5115 or Joanne, 843-0749.
